A 17-year-old boy is accused of shooting and seriously injuring a pregnant 16-year-old girl he is acquainted with during an argument earlier this month in Little Village.Angel David Funez-Reyes was charged with felony aggravated battery and misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon, according to Chicago police in a statement and a spokesperson for the Cook County state's attorney's office. He was scheduled to appear in at the Leighton Criminal Court building for a Tuesday detention hearing. Police earlier indicated he was charged as a juvenile. Funez-Reyes was arrested Monday in the 2000 block of South California Avenue after being identified as person who shot the pregnant 16-year-old during the quarrel, which occurred on Sept. 7 in the 2200 block of South Sawyer Avenue.
