The San Diego Police Department’s Gang Unit was investigating a shooting this weekend in Nestor that left two victims with non- life threatening injuries, according to authorities. Southern Division officers responded to a radio call at about 10:20 p.m. Friday regarding a discharging firearm in the area of 1510 Green Bay St. Officers found a 22-year-old victim sitting in a parked vehicle about a block away at 2000 Ilex Ave, SDPD said in a statement. “A second, 43-year-old victim was located in a vehicle in a gas station parking lot at 800 Palomar Street in Chula Vista,” police said. “The second victim had been en route to a local hospital when officers located him. Both victims and their companions refused to cooperate with officers.” No additional details of the incident or suspect descriptions were provided.
