BATON ROUGE mdash; A therapy dog held a meet-and-greet at the Knock Knock Children's Museum on Saturday.Goosey, a four-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from Baton Rouge, is an AKC-certified therapy dog with Bayou Buddies Pet Therapy as well as Reading Education Assistance Dogs.nbsp;Goosey's s pecialties include working with older adults and hospice patients, where his gentle nature creates deeply meaningful moments.One of Goosey's most memorable moments included being one man's final visitor, offering comfort and companionship at the end of his life.nbsp;In addition to his work with hospice patients, Goosey also serves the Baton Rouge community at the Knock Knock Children's Museum, the Baton Rouge Metro Airport, and for Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area.Goosey is currently one of five semi-finalists nationwide in the 16th annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards in the Therapy Dog category.nbsp;To vote, click here.nbsp;Permalink| Comments ...read more read less
