Artist Needed for Public Art Installations The Summit County Public Art Advisory Board seeks artists to design eight benches for the exterior of the Silver Summit Services building that commemorate the ideas of unity, community, justice, service and law and order in Park City and Summit County. Application deadline is Sept. 25. Canyons Village Management Association and Historic Park City Alliance seek Utah-based artists or artist teams to decorate the interior of a series of interactive gondolas and life-size snow globes. Christian Center of Park City’s 2026 Hike for Hunger The Christian Center of Park City will host its annual Hike for Hunger from noon-6 p.m. on Saturday at Utah Olympic Park, 3419 Olympic Pkwy. The event raises awareness of food insecurity in Summit and Wasatch counties. Registration is $25 for individuals and $75 for families, and registration allows attendees to participate in most of the park’s activities.
