A large brush fire that broke out in Brooks County Thursday afternoon is now 100% contained.According to the Texas AM Forest Service, the Lucero Fire burned about 325 acres along County Road 306 near Encino.The Falfurrias Fire D epartment says several agencies were called in to help because of the size and conditions of the fire.Officials say several homes were nearby, but everyone appears to be safe. ...read more read less
