5 PM WEATHER 9-10-26 INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A few frontal boundaries will be close by over the next week and that will keep some rain in the forecast.  Seasonably warm muggy conditions continue with any true fall-like air bottled up to our north through at least the middle of next week.  T HURSDAY NIGHT: Clearing skies north of Indy with lows in the 50s. Some fog could occur where clouds clear out.  Mostly cloudy across many spots of Central and Southern Indiana with milder lows in the 60s.  Any lingering rain during the evening will gradually move south. FRIDAY: Variably cloudy with highs the low 80s.  Temperatures in the 70s remain on track for high school football.  There is a small chance of a few spotty showers at some point during the day or evening, but odds remain small for now. FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy, mild, humid. Chance of a few showers and/or storms. Lows in the 60s. SATURDAY: More clouds than sun with highs in the 80s.  The chance of a few spotty showers and storms continues, but many spots will likely remain dry.  Let’s hope for the best for college football.   SATURDAY NIGHT: Variably cloudy. Lows in the upper 60s to around 70. SUNDAY: Seasonably warm muggy with highs in the 80s. The roof will likely remain closed for the Colts home opener.   NEXT WEEK:   Highs in the 80s to low 90s remain on track through at least Wednesday.  Lows will be around 70.
