HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Hanover County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect after multiple residents reported that their vehicles were recently tampered with. The sheriff's office said Thursday that deputies responded to a vehicle larceny in the 9000 block of Little Joselyn Drive in Ashcreek on Wednesday. Officials confirmed that during the investigation, four other victims on Little Joselyn Drive and Tarleton Drive also came forward to report that their vehicles had been tampered with. "Some reported cash to be missing, while others indicated their vehicles were rummaged through, but nothing obvious was missing," the sheriff's office said in a statement to 8News. Deputies said they also have video from various doorbell cameras in the area. The sheriff's office said it's looking for a suspect who appeared to be a slim Black male wearing a ski mask and dark clothing. Authorities continue to investigate.
