(KRON) -- A man who allegedly went on a violent Oakland crime spree in August is slated to appear in court for an arraignment Wednesday.
Aleem Spencer, 45, is facing a slew of charges stemming from two separate shootings and a house fire last month.
Alameda County prosecutors said the first shoo
ting happened on Aug. 1, when a victim was shot in the back, abdomen, and arm on 34th Street.
Four weeks later, on Aug. 30, Spencer was armed with a hammer in a park and threatened to kill a woman, according to the District Attorney's Office. When Oakland Police Department officers arrived at the park, Spencer allegedly pulled out a gun, fired "several rounds" at the officers, and ran away, the DA's office wrote.
