(Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Sep 7)-Weather permitting, Tuesday evening, Sept. 8, the northbound lanes of Interstate 180 (I-180) heading out of downtown will be closed between 9 am and 6 pm Wednesday for the installation of girders for the new bridge struc ture over I-180 at U.S. Highway 6. Northbound I-180 traffic will be detoured at the O Street Intersection and directed to take O Street west to the US-77/O Street/I-80 interchange. Weather permitting, Wednesday evening, Sept. 9, the southbound lanes of Interstate 180 (I-180) heading into downtown will be closed between 9 am and 6 pm Thursday for the installation of girders for the new bridge structure over I-180 at U.S. Highway 6. Southbound I-180 traffic will be detoured at the I-80/I-180 interchange (Exit 401) and routed west to the U.S. Highway 77 Interchange (US-77, Exit 397) and directed to West O Street.
