A third person died following Saturday’s plane crash in Central California, authorities said on Sunday. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said a woman died at the hospital after a plane crashed near the Sierra Sky Park Airport in northwest Fresno. The incident left two children dead and a fo urth victim, a man, in critical condition. On Saturday, the sheriff’s office said multiple agencies responded to a report of a plane crash in the 7300 block of N. Blythe Avenue. There, authorities found a fixed wing single-engine airplane on fire atop the bluff of the San Joaquin River. The sheriff’s office said firefighters extinguished the flames, preventing them from spreading to nearby homes. Authorities said two children and two adults were in the plane; both children died at the scene. Authorities have not released the victims’ identities nor their relationship.
