BATON ROUGE - Three women have come forward with sexual assault allegations against Elijah Clyde, a man they say assaulted them after nights of heavy drinking at bars in the Perkins Road Overpass area.nbsp;WBRZ previously reported that Elijah Clyde was arrested Aug. 8 for third-degree rape. He is a ccused of having sex with a woman who was too drunk to consent.nbsp;New documents say that two additional victims have filed reports with law enforcement.nbsp; An affidavit said that a woman who was allegedly assaulted more than a month earlier contacted the Baton Rouge Police Department after his arrest was first reported.nbsp; She told police that she met Clyde while drinking at Ivar's Sports Bar Grill on June 18. She said the two walked to Duvic's and Zee Zee's during the night, and she reportedly made Clyde promise he wouldn't try to have sex with her as the two kept drinking.nbsp;Clyde's neighbors told BRPD he frequently brought intoxicated women to his Christian Street home. They shared security video reportedly showing drunk women wandering next door.nbsp;A third victim told police that she was childhood friends with Clyde and the two drank together at Ivar's on May 3. The affidavit says she doesn't have much memory of the evening, but when she regained consciousness, Clyde was having sex with her.nbsp; She reportedly went to a hospital to get a rape kit and made a report with BRPD. The victim called Clyde after the alleged assault. While a police officer listened, he said that she was "lit" that night and came onto him. He reportedly apologized for encouraging her behavior, but said that he was drunk too.nbsp;Clyde was booked for additional charges of third-degree rape, attempted third-degree rape, sexual battery and second-degree kidnapping. He's currently being held in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.nbsp;Permalink| Comments ...read more read less
