The weather service is advising people who do hit the beach this weekend to stay out of the water "to avoid hazardous surf." Additionally, the NWS said to stay off jetties, piers, rocks and other waterside infrastructure.
The warning comes right in the midst of the busy Labor Day holiday weekend when Bay Area residents frequently flock to beaches to enjoy a last blast of summer weather.
