The residence at 54 Thunderbird Drive sold Aug. 25 for $3.21 million, making it the highest-priced sale in the Greater New Orleans area for the week of Aug. 23-29. The second-highest sale was 936 Arabella Street, an 1870s renovated Eastlake Victorian style home in Uptown New Orleans, which sold Aug. 28 for $2.45 million. Placing third was an Old Metairie luxury residence at 236 Glenwood Drive, a 1995 home that sold for $2.3 million. For the second week in a row, all three of the top homes sold for over $2 million. 54 Thunderbird Drive was built by Northshore-based Scott Custom Homes and features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and 6,000 square feet of living space. The listing agents were Martin Buras of NOLA Realty and Joy Scott of NOLA Living Realty. The sales agent was Puddy Robinson of Crescent Sotheby’s International Realty. “The home was so meticulously built, turnkey ready, appreciated by my clients, and in a neighborhood that they love,” Robinson said.
