RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Singer, songwriter, dancer and Grammy Award-winning artist Kehlani is currently on a world tour. The singer made a stop at Richmond's Allianz Amphitheater on the riverfront on Saturday, Aug. 29. Fans were ecstatic to see the star take the stage after the artist rescheduled the two shows before Richmond because Kehlani had been sick. If fans hadn't heard Kehlani was sick, they probably wouldn't have guessed from the great show that was put on after getting a few much-needed days of rest. The stage setup and the production value of the show from start to finish were immaculate. From the lights on the stage, to all the songs performed, it's a show not to miss. The multilevel stage had two staircases with projection screens that transitioned depending on the song being sung. At one point, all the screens were lit up to imitate a giant stereo. (Photos: Annie Gallo/8News) Halfway through the show, Kehlani brought out one of the show openers, Dixson, to perform "Still" together. Some of Kehlani's oldest and biggest hits were on the setlist, including "After Hours" and "Nights Like This." Of course, the show wouldn't be complete without "Folded", which concluded the concert. "It is super, super, super rare that someone can be afforded to last this long in this very brutal industry and it's because of you guys," the 31-year-old said to the thousands of fans in attendance. "I owe you my life -- I owe you the world." They continued to share how the support of fans has given them the opportunity to provide for their daughter.
