The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Convention Center’s Rivergate Room, accessible through the Julia Street entrance. The Career Expo will feature booths representing departments across the Convention Center, where attendees can meet employees, learn about their roles and explore current and future employment opportunities. While attendees will be able to submit applications and connect with hiring managers, Convention Center officials said the expo is not designed as a traditional hiring event. Instead, the event will focus on career exploration and increasing awareness of the range of jobs required to operate the facility and host major events. More than 200 people attended the Convention Center’s Career Expo in 2025. The Convention Center employs workers across a range of departments and professions supporting its event, hospitality and facility operations. The 1.1 million-square-foot facility welcomes more than 800,000 visitors annually and ranks among the 10 largest convention centers in the country, according to the organization. The Convention Center said events held at the facility have generated an estimated $93.2 billion in economic impact since it opened in 1985. It has also awarded more than $54 million in contracts to small businesses and disadvantaged business enterprises since 2019.
