Four school children, as well as a driver, have been hospitalized, officials said, after a vehicle struck a school bus in Washington Township, New Jersey, early Wednesday. According to pol ice, the incident happened at about 8:43 a.m. when a school bus traveling from Farmingham Drive was struck at the intersection of Pitman Downer Road and Orion Way. Following the crash, four children in the school bus, as well as the driver of the vehicle that struck the bus, were taken to a nearby hospital, police said. The driver of the vehicle that struck the bus suffered minor injuries, while the students were taken for evaluation after police suspected they suffered minor injuries, as well, officials said. However, police did not immediately provide further information on what school the bus was working for, specifics about the children involved or any other identifying information for those involved in this crash.
