They shared two sons Xavier and Gatlyn, but Xavier passed away only 11 days after birth. At first, he admitted his flaws as a husband, but days later asked the judge to financially penalize Joiner. Now, the 51-year-old seems to be back in a positive headspace after posting a lengthy uplifting message about being unstoppable and remaining strong on Aug. 30. Xzibit Selling His Mansion for Nearly $4 Million Months After Estranged Wife Requests ‘Lifelong’ Spousal Support Amid Nasty Divorce  The “Pimp My Ride” show host shared a three-slide post where he posed with his Rolls Royce, which has an orange interior.  In the caption, he left a long message with encourage words as a reminder to himself and to his followers. “Anger is punishment you give yourself,” his message began, “Discipline is the highest form of self-love. Ego is the enemy — stay humble. Do the right thing, not the easy thing. You become unstoppable when you stop seeking approval.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by XZIBIT (@xzibit) The quotes also mentioned how everything doesn’t need a response and how one should earn their lives instead of thinking anyone owes the. He added, “The strongest person is the one in control of themselves. Emotion kills logic — breathe, don’t react. You suffer twice when you worry about tomorrow.” The next line may have hit even more home as it’s been a little more than five years since he and Joiner’s divorce has been finalized. “If it doesn’t matter in five years, let it go today,” it read, along with other lines that had themes about focus, strength, routine, and effort. Fans showed their gratitude for the caption in the comments. One person wrote, “Very powerful words. Thank you.” A second person typed, “This caption is accurate, thank you for sharing gems!” Many agreed that his “post is full of wisdom,” praising the rapper, “X doing it for himself.” When Xzibit’s divorce was settled, he opened up about the aftermath and even admitted to his transgressions as a husband. “This entire thing has taken a toll on me emotionally physically financially, but I came out whole on the other side,” he said. Xzibit initially planned to celebrate, but he changed his mind and headed to his favorite steakhouse for a meal alone. “I’m taking full accountability for being a horrible husband, but I’m not a bad man,” he said before later mentioning Joiner.  He continued, “I don’t hate my ex-wife. I just understand where I’m supposed to be and I hope that she can find the same peace that I have.” Though Xzibit said he would not take “subliminal disses” at Joiner, he returned to court days later and asked the judge to penalize her. On Aug. 13, Xzibit accused Joiner and her lawyer of using “scorched earth tactics” to prolong the case and increase his legal fees. During the five-year divorce proceedings, Xzibit alleges he spent $1.6 million on attorney fees and costs, according to court filings obtained by TMZ. He says that total includes the $400,000 he paid for Joiner’s lawyers. As a result, Xzibit wants the judge to impose $200,000 in sanctions against Joiner. He accused her of trying to “wreak havoc, harass, and intimidate” him. The couple settled their child support and property disputes, but public records do not show how much Joiner received. But Xzibit told the court he’d rather her work and partially support herself.  At the time, he was paying her $6,000 monthly – part of that was for child support and the other was for spousal. Joiner claimed Xzibit was making $1 million a month from his cannabis business. In 2025, she returned to court seeking $21,000 in spousal support and more than $9,000 in child support.  She said the money helped maintain their lifestyle. At the time, they had to move out of their four-bedroom, four-bathroom home, which cost $10,000 a month to rent.
