Dozens of schools within the Philadelphia School District will be dismissing early on Tuesday due to extreme heat in the forecast. Officials said that 52 schools will dismiss early on Sept. 1 and students are encouraged to wear light clothing and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. All af ter school activities that are supposed to meet in person on Tuesday are canceled.
