ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – The Indiana Department of Health reports a human case of West Nile virus in Allen County.
The virus has also been detected in mosquito pools across more than 30 Indiana counties since testing began in July.
Health officials say the risk remains while temperatures stay a
bove 60 degrees.
Hoosiers are advised to use DEET-containing insect repellent and eliminate standing water around their homes.
