A Chicago man was charged Saturday in a 2025 vehicle accident that killed two people, the Chicago Police Department said.Gregory Carter, 28, was charged with two felony counts of reckless homicide, one felony count of aggravated reckless driving, one misdemeanor count of speeding over 35 miles per h our over the speed limit, and various other traffic citations.On Oct. 17, 2025, Carter was driving on the 7500 block of S. Vincennes Avenue when he struck another vehicle, killing an 18-year-old woman and 20-year-old man, police said.The Chicago Police Department's Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Carter on Aug. 27, 2026, on the 2500 block of W. 48th Street, police said.
