Grassroots Shakespeare at the Historic Echo Church Grassroots Shakespeare Company will perform “Midsummer Night’s Dream” at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Historic Echo Church, 50 Temple Ln. The nonprofit theater troupe is known for its pop-up performances that pay tribute to the original way W illiam Shakespeare’s plays were performed in the 16th century. Saturday’s performance is free, but donations will be accepted. The historic Echo Church is open Saturdays until Sept. 5, and it will be open on Monday, Sept. 7.
