INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) Indianapolis police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a man dead earlier this month.The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the first block of South State Avenue af ter a person was hit by car on Aug. 13.Officers arrived and found a 47-year-old male who was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The man died a short time later, police said.Detectives believe the victim was involved in a disturbance before he was hit by a car.
