Karoline Leavitt is wrapping up her final days at the White House doing what she does best. I know that probably not something anyone would expect me to say. But obviously it’s been great working with all of you. And I think people don’t realize about this job. Her going-away party featured a lectern-shaped cake bearing the White House seal. Guests also received podium cookies and treats decorated with the words “No more questions.” After months of testy briefings and verbal gymnastics, the slogan might have been the most accurate statement served all night. Leavitt, 29, shared the sugary sendoff on Instagram Stories, according to People. She praised political strategist Katie Miller for throwing the party. She also called the creation from Fluffy Thoughts “the coolest cake ever.” Custom cookie maker Leslie Pizarro handled the smaller baked goods. She approached the job with the confidence of a woman who never met a follow-up she could not outrun. The party was sweet. People’s comment section brought out all the salty haters. “Good riddance. I’m sure someone equally as reprehensible will replace her lying self. Yay,” one person wrote. Another added, “So glad she’s gone.
