An updated severe thunderstorm warning was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 2:49 p.m. in effect until 3 p.m. for Cortland and Onondaga counties.The storms are foreseen to bring wind gusts of up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail (1 inch).
