After he finished, the jurors were dismissed for the day so the attorneys an d judge could discuss plans for jury instructions and closing arguments.Judge William Sullivan said each lawyer will have an hour for closing statements on Thursday, though Clancy’s said he’d need only about half an hour.Prosecutors say Lindsay strangled her children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — on Jan. 24, 2023, in their Duxbury, Massachusetts, home after sending her then-husband Patrick out for some errands. She then jumped out of the home’s second-story window and was paralyzed from the waist down in the fall. Both sides will be given one hour, though they are not required to use the entire time period. Arguments are expected to take about 90 minutes. The jury will consider whether to find her guilty of first-degree murder or not guilty by reason of insanity, meaning she was not criminally responsible for her actions.
