10 PM WEATHER 8-26-26 INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Strong storms are possible through this evening with a passing front. Many dry days are headed our way with heat cranking up again next week. WEDNESDAY EVENING/NIGHT: Rain storms will continue to move south of Central Indiana. Clearing skie s will take over but areas of fog may develop, especially in areas that received a lot of heavy rain. Look for lows in the 60s. Some fog could occur wherever rain ends up falling. THURSDAY: Partly cloudy and seasonably warm with highs in the low to mid 80s.  A few stray pop-up showers or storms are possible during the afternoon. THURSDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear skies with lows ranging from the lower 60s to upper 50s.  A near total lunar eclipse will occur from 10:13 PM EDT to 1:52 AM EDT.  The maximum eclipse for our area will occur at 12:13 AM.  You can look at this with your naked eyes, it’ll be a sight to behold.   FRIDAY: Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 80s.  Conditions look great again for week #2 of high school football and the Zone with temperature falling into the 70s during the evening.   WEEKEND:  Mostly sunny skies continue on Saturday along with highs in the mid 80s.  We’ll be pushing 90 on Sunday under partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will warm from the 60s Saturday Sunday to around 70 by Monday morning.  EARLY NEXT WEEK: Southerly winds will allow warm humid air to flow freely back into Indiana. Look for highs in the low to possibly mid 90s with much warmer heat indices.  Muggy overnight lows in the 70s return as well.  Some spotty rain/storms could develop but the chance appears low until Wednesday.   ...read more read less
