Courtesy of Connoisseur Media Lincoln.LINCOLN–(KFOR Aug. 26)–A review of petition signatures on the charter amendments for changing elections and increase voter participation by Good Government Lincoln has been approved by the Lancaster County Election Commissioner’s office. In a news release Wednesday to KFOR, the Election Commission reviewed 483 petition pages of the 596 total pages that had been submitted to the Lincoln City Clerk. Of the 7,775 petition lines reviewed, 5,568 (71.6%) signatures were found to be valid and would go before voters to consider on Nov. 3.
