Nordstrom Rack is coming to Park City this fall. The public grand opening for the new Junction Commons store is set for 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22. Customers can line up as early as 7 a.m., and the store will hold a $1,000 gift card giveaway at 8:45 a.m. The morning will also include a DJ, giveaways, coffee and more. Adam Greenebaum, senior vice president of Singerman Real Estate, which owns Junction Commons, said the outdoor shopping center is excited to welcome the Seattle-based fashion retailer. “The addition of Nordstrom Rack further solidifies Junction Commons’ position as a premier shopping destination and reflects the continued success and appeal of the Park City market,” Greenebaum said. “We look forward to Nordstrom Rack becoming an integral part of the community and contributing to the project’s ongoing evolution and long-term success.” Customers at the Junction Commons location will be able to pick up online orders from both Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, as well as make returns. Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., which currently operates two Nordstrom stores and four Nordstrom Rack stores in Utah.
