The South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs hosted a Fallen Hero Bridge Dedication to honor U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Ronald D. McIlravy Saturday (Aug. 22, 2026) in New Underwood. The 161st Ave bridge over I-90 at exit 78, New Underwood, will be dedicated as the SSG Ronald D. McIlravy bridge. SSG McIlravy served with honor and distinction, and this dedication will ensure their legacy continues to inspire all who travel this roadway.
