A man was killed in an overnight shooting in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
The shooting occurred just before midnight at Jackson and Wakeling streets.
When officers arrived, they found a 64-year-old man unresponsive on the highway wit
h a gunshot wound to the face. Police said he died at the scene.
Officers also located a 39-year-old man at the scene. He was taken into custody for questioning and transported to the Homicide Unit, according to officials.
As of 12:44 p.m., the man had not been charged in connection with the shooting.
Police said two handguns were recovered from the scene.

NBC10 was at the scene around 4 a.m., where several officers, including members of the Homicide Unit, could be seen investigating as a vehicle was towed from the area.
