On Saturday at 3:55 p.m. a beach hazards statement was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Sunday 8 a.m. until Tuesday 2 a.m. for Erie and Chautauqua counties.The weather service informs, "Strong currents and dangerous swimming conditions expected."
