BATON ROUGE mdash; Amazon plans to open a new Baton Rouge facility on Tom Drive, according to a report by The Advocate.nbsp;61 North Logistics Center, measuring 240,000 square feet, will be the location of Amazon's newest operation center just over a mile away from Amazon's fulfillment center at Co rtana Place.nbsp;The new facility will be the fourth built in Baton Rouge alongside the Cortana Place center, the regional sortation center in Port Allen and a distribution center near Rieger Road.nbsp;Amazon previously built a drone hub at the Cortana Place center to launch its Prime Air drone delivery.Permalink| Comments ...read more read less
