A man died early Saturday after being hit by an SUV in Philadelphia’s Logan neighborhood, according to police. At approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to the deadly crash at North 20th Street and Belfield Avenue. Police have not identified the man who was killed. Officials said t he driver of the SUV remained at the scene and told officers she initially “thought she had hit an animal.” It is unclear whether the driver will face charges.
