DENVER A 14-hour drive from Chicago to Denver for the Noah Kahan concert at Coors Field earlier this month ended in disappointment for Jenny DAgostino and her 26-year-old daughter, Taylor, after they said the wheelchair accessi ble tickets Taylor purchased did not include wheelchair accommodations. This is not okay. We should be able to have floor seats, have front row. If we pay for it, we should have it, Jenny DAgostino said.DAgostino said it all started Sunday, Aug. 9, when they arrived at Coors Field for the concert. We got there and everything was fine and they helped us in. They were wonderful getting us down there to our seats, DAgostino said. The lady was very very nice with the security staff from Argus, she was like, Oh no! Like the seats were zip tied together. Watch Micah Smith's report in the video below: Mother says accessible Noah Kahan tickets for Coors Field didn't accommodate daughter's wheelchairDAgostino said security and event workers would not separate the zip tied seats to accommodate Taylors wheelchair. So, they took us all the way to the stage. There were no chairs over there or anything. They said, we'll just put you over there. And Taylor was like, Oh my gosh! This spot is amazing because we were like right by the stage. She was so excited, DAgostino said. But three hours later, and halfway through Noah Kahans concert, DAgostino said they were once again told to move.A staff of like, maybe three or four security guards, came up to us and bent down and said, I'm sorry, we have bad news. You can't stay here. And with that, they were taking us all the way back to the ADA platform of something that we did not purchase, DAgostino said. Taylor was right behind the interpreter for the deaf, and Taylor couldn't see anything I was like, 'we drove 14 hours to have floor seats, and then you just like threw her in the back. DAgostino said this was Taylors second attempt to see Noah Kahan. She saw him in Chicago, and the seats were like nosebleeds. She really couldn't see him. She loved the concert so much, she wanted to go see him, but she wanted to be up close, DAgostino said.According to DAgostino, Taylor bought two tickets for the Coors Field concert for $1,500. DAgostino provided Denver7 with a copy of the ticket information which states the seats are accessible. As soon as I got back home, I did a post on my social media, and I said 'This is not okay. This is not okay'. And I reached out to Coors Field, SeatGeek, Live Nation, like everywhere that I possibly could. The DOJ. Like, I've filed a complaint, DAgostino said. I want my daughter's money refunded for the tickets because we did not get what we paid for.DAgostino said Taylor was devastated but hesitant to reach out herself and shes been helping Taylor navigate the situation.Taylor broke her back 10 years ago from a horse riding incident, and Noah's music, she was listening to him back then, like 10 years ago, and it just really gets her soul right, DAgostino said. I'm being the voice for Taylor I want to show Taylor, I told her, 'just because this happened, you can still have a good life. You could still do the things just in a different way, maybe a little bit slower.' But when this happened, and she was devastated, and she started crying. I was like, I'm not going to be quiet about this one.' This was not okay. And so I'm doing it for my daughter. Denver7s Micah Smith reached out to SeatGeek, a representative for the company said they reviewed DAgostinos experience and: Agree that it fell short of the standard we aim to provide. We recognize the frustration and inconvenience this situation caused and we have been in contact with the customer to make things right. We have offered a 100% cash refund under our Buyer Guarantee for this issue. We are also reviewing the details of the order and listing.DAgostino said she reached out to SeatGeek on Aug. 10 and she credits Denver7s reporting with helping Taylor receive her refund. ...read more read less
