The Texas Department of Transportation is reducing the speed limit on a coastal stretch of State Highway 361 near Port Aransas from 60 mph to 50 mph beginning Tuesday, Aug. 25.The change affects the corridor between Park Road 22 and a point just south of Beach Access Road 1A.Electronic message boards throughout the corridor will notify motorists of the upcoming change.
