COVINGTON mdash; A federal officer employed at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Oakdale was arrested on Friday after allegedly entering an ex-girlfriend's apartment in Covington without permission.nbsp;According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, 58-year-old Thomas Bailey of Lecompte was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.nbsp;ldquo;Regardless of where you work or what position you hold, the law applies equally to everyone,rdquo; Sheriff Bret Ibert said. ldquo;When someone enters another personrsquo;s residence without permission, we are going to investigate the circumstances and take the appropriate action based on the facts of the case.rdquo;Permalink| Comments ...read more read less
