A 71-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested early Friday on suspicion of operating while intoxicated for the fifth time, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.Troopers said they stopped a vehicle around 2:39 a.m. near South Mac y Street and Court Street after learning the registered owner had a suspended drivers license. During the stop, the trooper observed signs of impairment, and field sobriety tests were conducted.Authorities said the driver was arrested on suspicion of fifth-offense OWI, and a legal blood draw was performed at a hospital before he was booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail.The driver was also cited for possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and operating with a suspended license.NBC 26 is withholding the suspect's name until he is formally charged. ...read more read less
