An updated report from the National Weather Service was issued on Friday at 6:09 a.m. for dense fog until 9 a.m. for Yates, Seneca, Onondaga and Oneida counties."Patchy dense fog has developed across the area this morning with visibility half a mile or less. Low visibility could make driving conditi ons hazardous. If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
