GEORGE mdash; A free outdoor concert series is coming to Highland Road Park this fall, featuring live music, an arts market and food vendors."Sundays in St. George" is scheduled for Oct. 11 and Oct. 18, from 2-6 p.m. The series is presented by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and the Cit y of St. George, with support from Visit Baton Rouge and The Advocate.Phat Hat performs on Oct. 11 and Parish County Line takes the stage Oct. 18. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.Alongside the live music, the event will feature a curated arts market with local small businesses and food vendors.Organizers said the series is designed to reflect the cultural richness of the Greater Baton Rouge area, with a focus on diversity and inclusion across vendors and performers.Organizers are currently looking for event sponsors, visual artists, makers and food vendors to participate.
