A fire in Parker County killed three people Monday night. Firefighters fighting the flames on Lake Country Drive found two victims inside the structure, then discovered a third victim a short time later. A source tells NBC 5 the deceased were a mother and two children. Officials did not confirm the age of the children. The fire happened just before 10 p.m., with three agencies responding. The Parker County Emergency Services District 6 was first on the scene and found the structure engulfed in flames, and three people were missing. Firefighters called for help from the Cresson and North Hood County volunteer fire departments. A news release from Parker County ESD 6 says firefighters tried to get control of the flames and enter the mobile home being used as a private residence.
