Man critically wounded in Near West Side shooting

A man was critically wounded in a shooting early Tuesday on the Near West Side. The 28-year-old was found in the first block of North Leavitt Street about 3:05 a.m. and taken to Stroger Hospital where he was in critical condition, police said. Area 3 detectives were investigating.
