The U.S. National Ski Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. has set the date for its annual charity golf outing, followed by the Class of 2026 announcement party, both held in Ogden. The annual charity golf outing, one of the Hall of Fame’s largest fundraisers of the year, will be held at Mt. Ogden Golf Course on Monday, Sept. 28. All golfers are welcome, and registration is open now. The Class of 2026 announcement party will be held the following day, Sept. 29, at UTOG Brewing Company from 6-7:30 p.m. The Class of 2026 includes eight new inductees into the U.S. Ski Snowboard Hall of Fame. The announcement party is free to attend and will feature small bites and a cash bar. Both events will include a large silent auction, giveaways and the opportunity to learn more about the National Hall of Fame and the legendary Honored Members it honors and celebrates. The Class of 2026 will be inducted into the U.S. Ski Snowboard Hall of Fame on Saturday, March 20, 2027, at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center with the support of Visit Ogden. U.S. Ski Snowboard Hall of Fame candidates are nominated under the established criteria of athlete, sport builder, and the heritage categories, with the Hall of Fame’s Selection Committee evaluating nominees for minimum qualifying criteria and voting to establish the final ballot. The final ballot then moves on to the National Hall of Fame’s Voting Panel, which comprises Honored Members of the Hall of Fame, key snow sport industry representatives, resort representatives and the Hall of Fame’s board of directors and committee members.
