Preschool-age children and their adults are invited to Salamonie’s “Camping” program on August 20. Children will learn how much fun camping can be through activities and crafts. Children ages 2 – 5 and their adults are welcome to attend the class from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Salamon ie Interpretive Center located in Lost Bridge West SRA, Andrews. Each program is designed to enhance the preschooler’s basic education, including music, crafts, social interaction, and time outdoors, always with a nature-related theme. The program fee is $3 per child. Advance registration is requested. Register by calling Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at (260) 468-2127. When the entrance gate is open at Salamonie Lake, gate fees apply – $7 per Indiana vehicle or $50 for an annual permit to all State Parks.
