A man was critically injured after being struck by two vehicles in Philadelphia, police said. The crash happened near 23rd Street and Lehigh Avenue at just after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026. The man was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for severe head trauma and was placed in cr itical condition, according to police. Both vehicles fled the scene.
