‘Good Lord’: Trump’s Strange Stance Has Fans Zooming In on His Suit — Now They’re Scrambling to Figure Out What’s Going On
Aug 16, 2026
Donald Trump has spent years asking Americans to trust his administration over what they see with their own eyes.
It started with his first inauguration, when his White House insisted he drew the “largest audience” ever despite photos showing otherwise.
Years later, the strategy has hardly
disappeared amid alarming concerns about the commander-in-chief’s health.

Trump and his administration have repeatedly insisted that the 80-year-old president is in “excellent shape.”
Now, every new photo gives social media another reason to scrutinize his body — from his ankles to his weight.

Now, it’s his strange bulge amid the White House’s silence.
A mystery photo circulating online shows Trump on Aug. 14 standing onstage at a rally in Garden City, New York, as he’s being interviewed by Fox News reporter Alexis McAdams.
The two were seen standing in front of an American flag and presidential seal onstage at the Nassau County Police Training Center on Long Island.
Someone zoomed in on his awkard stance pointing out his “knock knees” and circled a large bulge on Trump’s lower back, drawing attention to the unusual shape beneath his jacket.
The candid shot might otherwise have gone unnoticed.
Instead, viewers immediately began zooming in on one enlarged area to solve the mystery underneath Trump’s jacket.

One X user asked, “What’s going on there?” and drew a white circle around Trump’s backside to show others where to look.
The answers to his question only got wilder from there.
“Good lord ohh…a bullet proof vest? Geez,” asked one eagle-eyed viewer.
Others offered more complicated theories tied to his health. “I think he’s wearing some type of medical device that is typically worn on the front,” wrote one individual.
Another suspected, “I think it’s an electronic device that stimulates his muscles so he can walk.”
While others pointed to his recent weight gain, writing, “He’s shrinking so his a— is getting bigger. His posture is terrible, he leans forward.”

The POTUS has sported a noticeably larger build in recent months despite doctors’ recommendation that he shed a few pounds.
However, no verified evidence currently establishes what caused the bulge. It could stem from Trump’s body, the cut of his suit jacket, health equipment, or something else.
Last year, another mysterious bulge under Trump’s clothing sparked an entirely different internet diagnosis.
Social media users also claimed a bump under his shirt showed he wore a ventricular assist device. No medical evidence supports that claim.
The viral speculation, however, comes amid very real questions surrounding Trump’s health.
Still, the speculation comes amid real questions about Trump’s health.

In July 2025, the White House disclosed that Trump had chronic venous insufficiency.
The condition affects how veins return blood to the heart. Blood can then pool in the lower legs, causing swelling.
The president’s physician said testing found no evidence of deep vein thrombosis, arterial disease, heart failure or systemic illness. That diagnosis has not stopped viewers from scrutinizing him. Photographs of Trump’s bruised hands have also circulated repeatedly.

Then-press secretary Karoline Leavitt blamed the marks on frequent handshakes and aspirin use. White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella backed the explanation.
Trump later said of his bruising, “I take the big aspirin, and when you take the big aspirin, they tell you, you bruise.”
His appearance has fueled questions throughout his second term, from swollen limbs and bruises to tired-looking moments. The White House, meanwhile, has maintained that Trump remains in excellent health.
More recently, some physicians have publicly called for greater transparency.
His reported measurements have become another source of online skepticism. The president’s medical reports have listed him at 6 feet 3, while public side-by-side appearances with athletes and officials whose heights are known have repeatedly sent viewers back to their screenshots.
And that is why one oddly fitting suit jacket can turn into an internet investigation.
The photograph does not prove Trump is hiding a medical device, wearing body armor or concealing anything else underneath his clothes.
But after months of swollen ankles, bruised hands, and competing explanations, people online are no longer just listening to what the White House says.
