A West Virginia influencer says he’s “trolling the haters” as the internet picks apart several allegations against him. But in a recent video, he made it clear the hate no longer bothers him. Dalton Joseph Memel, also known online as “Dalton Ain’t Worried,” posted a new video on Thurs day. It follows content that raised questions about where his wife, Sako, was. “In the past seven days, we’ve only posted those two videos, and we’ve made $46,000 and gotten over 300,000 new followers,” he said. “And to all of you wannabe content creators making videos trying to make me look bad, that’s more money than you’ll ever see in a year. Many people in the comments claimed she seemed disconnected as her partner ziplined across the pond while dumping dye in it. The couple has collectively amassed millions of followers through their social media content. Dalton Opens Up Memel first started opening up about his recent struggles in a video on Aug. 8. He told his followers about his struggles with addiction and that his mother had been diagnosed with cancer. “There’s nothing that can prepare me for the sadness that I feel right now,” Memel said. The internet then dug up Memel’s criminal history. According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, he had been charged in a domestic dispute case back in February. Atlanta Black Star reached out to the sheriff’s office to get the incident report but has not heard back. On Aug. 11, Memel posted another video, addressing the questions his last video raised. “I tell everybody my mother’s got cancer, she ain’t got long to live, and then I say I got something else going on in my life and I didn’t really speak on that,” Memel said in the new video. “And because I didn’t speak on that, some people now think I’m some kind of domestic violator and that I’m an abuser. All because people started doing some digging and they found out that I was a part of some DV issue back in February.” Memel explained the alleged recent situation happened while they were drinking. He also alluded to family and friends being involved. “That was one of them deals where me and Sako and our friends and family are kind of ornery, and we had a little bit too much to drink and s—t happened, and I wish it didn’t,” he said. Memel also called out people online for making fun of him for tearfully opening up about his life. “And then you got all the people making videos about me, making fun of me for crying, saying I staged the whole thing for views,” he said. He pointed out that the rumor mill was also claiming that he relapsed. From Tears to Trolling In a new video on Aug. 13, Memel seemed unconcerned about clearing up the rumors. “I don’t know why people are so interested in my life,” he said at the beginning. He said his mother was transported to the Cleveland Clinic to get treated for blood cancer. Memel added that she was upset by the negative comments her son was receiving. Memel then flashed a screenshot of his Instagram business dashboard. It apparently showed that his Instagram account grew immensely, along with his wallet. “I hope you all stay confused. We’re just laughing to the bank,” he joked after showing off the over $46,000 he made off his recent content. At one point in the video, he put on a black shirt with three emojis: a hose, a bee, and a lion. “Now I already know, ‘that means h– be lying, that means the queen, where’s the queen’?” he said, referencing people asking about Sako. “This could some kind of cryptic message; this could be some kind of symbolic message; Sako could just be out getting a BBL [Brazilian Butt Lift], you’ll never know.” “Just kidding, she doesn’t need one,” he said. Sako has yet to comment publicly on the ongoing rumors.
