Four people were injured in an overnight exchange of gunfire outside a night club in Denver's Harvey Park neighborhood, police say.Denver police said they received a report of an assault or fight outside Volt Club at 2121 S. She
ridan Blvd. just after midnight Saturday.A security guard reportedly tried to intervene, and someone in the large group fired shots, Denver police told Denver7.The security guard reportedly fired back, and there was then an exchange of gunfire. Police say they do not know how many people fired shots.The security guard suffered a minor gunshot injury to the foot, and three additional gunshot victims, all of whom have "good prognoses," were taken to the hospital, police said.An "involved" vehicle was spotted leaving the scene and DPD officers and a DPD helicopter followed.Several people left the vehicle, and three of whom police found and took into custody, according to police. The driver kept driving, and a pursuit ensued."Officers stopped the vehicle using the PIT maneuver in the area of I-70 / I-25 where the driver and a passenger were taken into custody," a DPD spokesperson said in an email.The driver was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, per police. Police have recovered four guns thus far, and forensic investigations will determine which firearms were used in this incident, police said."Additional arrests are possible as investigators continue gathering information and conducting interviews in this complex investigation to determine the involvement of the multiple people contacted and/or detained during this incident," a DPD spokesperson told Denver7.Police are asking anyone with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.This is a developing story that may be updated.
