Three people were injured, including two critically, in two separate overnight shootings across Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. Police said the first shooting occurred at approximately 12:31 a.m. in the 4300 block of North 5th Street and the second at 2 a.m. in the 900 block of South 4th Street. Here’s a breakdown of each incident: 2 found shot near barbershop According to police, at approximately 12:31 a.m. on Aug. 15, officers responded to the 4300 block of North 5th Street after receiving a report of a person with a gun and a man shot inside a car near a barbershop. When officers arrived, they found two shooting victims inside a gray Honda Pilot. Officials said both victims were transported to Temple University Hospital. The first victim, identified as a 22-year-old, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso and was listed in critical but stable condition. The second victim, a 17-year-old woman, sustained gunshot wounds to the head and left leg and was listed in serious-to-critical condition. No arrests have been made, and no motive has been determined. 1 injured on South 4th Street The second shooting occurred at approximately 2 a.m. on Aug. 15. According to police, at around 8:15 a.m., a man walked into Jefferson Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unknown. There is no known motive, and no arrest has been made.
