On Thursday, at about 8 a.m., a large police presence descended on that block after, sources told NBC10, a woman was killed inside a home there. Also, at that time, a suspect was taken into police custody, sources said. On Friday morning, a spokesperson for the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Micheal Myers was the individual who has been arrested and charged for this incident. ‘He did it’ Court documents obtained by NBC10 claim that police were alerted to a slaying at the home by Dawn Myers’ son. The son found his mother’s body after his stepfather, Michael Myers, told him where to find her, according to the criminal complaint. According to court documents, the son arrived at the home on Thursday morning after being alerted to the scene by an alarm company to find Michael Myers seated in a white Cadillac SUV outside the home. The son confronted Michael Myers to ask about the location of his mother, when court documents claim, “Myers mumbled” that she was inside. At that time, court documents claim, the son noticed what appeared to be blood on Myers’ face. The son then rushed into the home to find Dawn Myers’ body in an upstairs bedroom and when he turned to leave, court documents claim, he found Michael Myers standing at the bottom of a nearby stairway with “his arms across the railing with a hand on each side blocking the way down the stairs.” Court documents claim the son came down the stairs and Michael Myers attempted to prevent him from leaving the residence when a fight ensued. During this fight, the son struck Myers in the head with a cellphone, pushed his way past him and fled out the front door of the home before immediately calling police, court documents note. When officers arrived, they found both men standing outside the home and, when confronted by police, court documents claim, the son held up a hand, pointed at Myers and said “he did it.” What happened on Wood Street? At that time, court documents say Michael Myers was taken into custody and found to have a number of “visible injuries.” Court documents say he had, what appeared to be, blood on his wrist and around his face, on his lip and in his beard along with scratches on his right arm and on his back. Also, according to court documents, several men’s ties were found tied around Dawn Myers’ neck inside the home. Investigators found, court documents note, that an alarm system on the home was triggered on Thursday morning and a dispatcher had texted the victim’s phone several times around 6 a.m. before, eventually, the alarm company contacted her son who then traveled to the home to find Michael Myers outside the scene. Myers is being held in police custody after his bail was denied. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday. NBC10 is working to learn more. This is a breaking news story.
