INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) -- A man died after a car hit him east of downtown Indianapolis, police said.The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of a pedestrian struck at about 9:30 Thursday night near the first block of State Avenue between East Washington Street and Southeastern Avenue.Officers arrived to find the man with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
